Recent Creative Work
How Do You See Me? Lead Artist. Developed over two years this performance lecture invited a group of older people to explore how their sense of self had evolved over the course of their lives; revealing the current way that they saw themselves, and how this perception has changed over the years. It revealed the experiences of a lifetime as older people posed questions and triggered conversations. And explored how age can shape a sense of self that is confident, adventurous and fun. Commissioned by London College of Fashion and The Royal Academy. October 2013 – May 2015.
Once Upon A Time – Lead Artist. A project working with SARF (The Social Action and Research Foundation) exploring the idea of growing up from a child’s perspective. Aiming to shed light on unheard narratives of life, children were supported to document their lived experience through photography and to explore ideas of identity and place in a way which was accessible, playful and honest. March 2015
Meet Me At The Mount – Lead Artist. A creative residency which saw the iconic Mount Pavilion transformed into a unique Fleetwood inspired installation created from the town’s past, present and future. January to March 2015
Heritage Trees – Project Director. Working with City of Trees to develop a bespoke training session and resource exploring creative ways to support people living with dementia to engage in natural spaces, and enjoy them. This work was part of their Dementia Naturally Active project which involved running indoor and outdoor nature based activities to improve health and wellbeing. October 2016
What Is The City But The People? – Lead Arist. Creative residency based at Victoria Square in Ancoats creating an installation with older people to compliment the new performance work created by Jeremy Deller to launch Manchester International Festival 2017. July 2017.
Hull City of Culture Residency -A six month residency in Hull as part of City of Culture 2017. Working in four locations we worked with local organisations to bring people living with a dementia, and the people who support them, right to the heart of City of Culture 2017. The residencies took inspiration from: The Turner Prize, The Flood by Slung Low, Martin Parr and Blast Theory / We Made ourselves. June to December 2017

Extinction Rebellion – a global environmental movement with the stated aim of using nonviolent civil disobedience to compel government action to avoid tipping points in the climate system, biodiversity loss, and the risk of social and ecological collapse. Ongoing
