I grow things because…

I grow things because…

I love being outside.

It grounds me and connects me to the things that matter.

It is great fun (most of the time!)

It helps me put down roots.

It allows me to make more space for “wild”.

Home grown food tastes better.

It makes me slow down.

It’s something we enjoy doing together as a family.

It creates a beautiful space to be enjoyed.

It connects me with others by sharing plants and experiences.

It enables my family to eat food removed from a food system that I detest.

I like getting my hands dirty in the soil.

I love plants, and experimenting with what I can grow.

Making a garden is a manifestation of what I believe the world can be.
